Connections Café

About:
Silver Key Connections Café provides hot, nutritious meals in a social setting to eligible diners, promoting good health and offering the opportunity to enjoy friendship with others. Connections Café meal sites are located throughout the community and reservations are required. Diners receive nutritional information and education as well. Funding for this service is partially provided by the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments/Area Agency on Aging. 

Eligibility:
Anyone 60 years of age or older. The spouse of an eligible diner is also eligible. Disabled persons under 60 years of age who reside in housing facilities occupied primarily by older adults and at which congregate nutrition services are provided are eligible.

Cost:
A suggested donation for eligible diners is $3.50, but no eligible person is denied a meal because of inability to give.

Many of our meals are made with TEFAP foods provided by the USDA. Any solicited payments for non-USDA foods or services are not part of TEFAP, are not endorsed by the USDA, and are not a condition for receiving USDA-donated foods or meals containing them. Frozen Meals:
Frozen Meal pick-up must be reserved 3-days in advance for pick-up at 719-884-2300.

Registered Dietitian:
